Died .. at the residence of Jessie Justice, on Saturday Jan 30, 1875 of typhoid pneumonia, Ida Gerbrick, aged 19 years 4 months.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church, had lived the life of a true Christian and died peacefully and quietly, supported by the comforts of the faith. Her last pang is over and that firm hope of immortality has ended in fruition while her sphere in life was humble, her example is nevertheless worth of imitation. She was no summer friend, but was true, amiable and well liked by all who knew her. Her funeral was attended bny a large concourse of friends.
